Government Calls for Dialogue to Resolve Issues Ahead of March 5 Polls


Kathmandu: The government has made a public appeal for maintaining law and order to ensure the success of the upcoming March 5 elections. In an official press release, the Ministry of Home Affairs urged citizens to express their views and organize any protest activities peacefully.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Ministry emphasized the government’s willingness to address citizens’ issues, concerns, and demands through meaningful dialogue and discussions. The statement further encouraged solutions through talks before resorting to protests and rallies.



In the press release, Ananda Kafle, the Ministry’s Spokesperson and Joint Secretary, highlighted the government’s efforts to create a conducive environment for the March 5 elections. Kafle stressed the importance of ensuring a stable law and order situation as the country transitions to a new government.



The Ministry also underscored that it is the responsibility of all stakeholders and the general public to facilitate the timely conduct of the polls.
