Govt Committed to Investment-Friendly Economy, Says Finance Minister Paudel.


Bhairahawa: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has emphasized the government’s commitment to creating an investment-friendly atmosphere by potentially amending laws. He stated that the government is focused on making the national economy dynamic during the inauguration of the ninth Lumbini National Festival in Bhairahawa today. Paudel encouraged businesspersons, explaining that the economic status is gradually improving and the government is ready to take actions that uplift the morale of the private sector.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Finance Minister Paudel asserted that the government is addressing various economic challenges systematically. He remarked on the growing public trust in the government’s efforts and expressed optimism about the Gautam Buddha International Airport, highlighting it as a national pride project with no doubts regarding its smooth operation. The Lumbini National Festival is organized by the Siddhartha Industry and Commerce Association, Rupandehi, aiming to boost local product marketing, invigorate the economic sector, and promote tourism in the province. The festival is scheduled to run until December 16, with organizers anticipating a transaction volume of Rs 100 million.
