Belchautara: The GP Koirala National Center for Respiratory Diseases in Shuklagandaki Municipality-5 has implemented the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Minister for Health and Population Pradip Poudel inaugurated the EMR system at the hospital today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the service has been introduced following the installation of equipment valued at Rs 2 million 526 thousand, provided by the World Health Organization. The government established the Center in honor of former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, with the aim of making it the leading respiratory disease treatment facility in South Asia.
The Center, along with the hospital it operates, is situated on 740 ropanis of land in Belchautara, Shuklagandaki Municipality.
