Dharan: The Election Commission has issued a certificate of party registration to a new political entity, the Shram Sanskriti Party, led by Harka Sampang, who is also the Mayor of Dharan sub-metropolis. This development marks a significant step for the party, which aims to make its mark in the political landscape.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Election Commission provided the registration certificate in accordance with Article 4 and 5 of the Political Party Act, 2073. The Shram Sanskriti Party, led by Sampang, is the first among seven new political parties that applied for registration following a Gen-Z protest, to receive this certification.
After the official ceremony, Sampang announced the formation of a 28-member working committee for the party. He emphasized the party’s commitment to working for the country, stating, “We will work for the country and we are honest towards the nation and people.”
