Kathmandu: Haze that has blanketed most parts of the country for the past few days is expected to clear gradually from today. Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari noted that weather conditions are predicted to improve further by tomorrow.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the haze has been prevalent due to the influence of a high-pressure system affecting the region recently. This system is expected to weaken gradually, leading to clearer weather conditions. The current weather pattern is influenced partly by westerly winds, a high-pressure system located in the upper atmosphere, and a low-pressure area situated in the lower atmosphere near the eastern part of the country.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division reported that light rainfall occurred in some areas today, which is contributing to the anticipated improvement in weather conditions.
