Health Ministry Restores Operations and Establishes Support Hotlines

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population, severely impacted by the recent Gen-Z protest, has announced the revival of all its operational mechanisms.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Budhathoki stated in a press release on Wednesday that the ministry has reinstated all its functional setups to enhance transparency and accountability in health service delivery.

The Ministry has also introduced several communication channels for public assistance. Individuals facing difficulties in accessing services from the ministry or its affiliated bodies are encouraged to use the hotline number 1115, Viber and WhatsApp at 9851330592, or email [email protected].

Additionally, the ministry has provided direct contact options, including Spokesperson Budhathoki’s phone number 9851255838 and the Information Officer’s number 9851363756 for any arising issues.

Due to the complete damage of its buildings during the Gen-Z protest, the Ministry has temporarily relocated its operations to the Nepal Health Research Council.
