High Court Tulsipur Resuming Service from Sunday

Tulsipur: The High Court Tulsipur is set to resume registration and hearing of cases from the coming Sunday.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the court’s registrar, Yam Prasad Baskota, announced that the registration and hearing of cases, including writs, injunction applications, and applications under Section 157 of the Civil Procedure Code 2074 and Section 73 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2074, will resume from October 12.

Previously, the court only accepted applications for the personal appearance of prisoners. Registrar Baskota mentioned that information regarding the handling of ongoing cases and the registration of new petitions to provide regular services will be communicated only after another notice.

The arson and vandalism of the court during the Gen Z Uprising had adversely affected the regular services.
