Kathmandu: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has conducted an inspection of the Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday evening.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the inspection was prompted by frequent complaints from the general public regarding the services at TIA. The Home Minister addressed these concerns during his visit, urging security bodies and TIA employees to provide hassle-free service to customers and the general public. He emphasized that troubling migrant returnees at TIA must come to an end.
Minister Gurung further warned the concerned bodies against allowing room for such complaints to arise. He specifically mentioned that unnecessary checks of clothes and personal items under the guise of security checks should not continue.
