A human chain was formed in front of the Chapainawabganj 250-bedded Hospital today demanding the trial of the murder of Dr. Golam Kazem Ali Ahmed, a skin specialist.
The human chain was formed under the banner of ‘Anti-discrimination Physicians Society’.
Dr. Kazem was killed by a group of miscreants in Rajshahi on October 29, 2023.
Civil Surgeon of Chapainawabganj Dr. Mahmudur Rashid, Superintendent of Chapainawabganj 250-bedded Hospital Dr. Masud Parvej, senior physician Dr. Moyej Uddin and other physicians, students, members of various voluntary organisations, officials of clinics, teachers and students of different government and non-government Nursing Institutes and pharmacy owners participated in the human chain.
The speakers in the human chain demanded immediate arrest of the killers and their exemplary punishment.
