Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Devraj Ghimire has opined that the new generation should be made familiar to the Eastern philosophy and the importance of its culture
Releasing a book ‘Brihat Karmakanda Pradip’ written by Hom Prasad Acharya in the Capital City on Saturday, Speaker Ghimire said that books should be published to share the details of our custom.
“The new generation should be made aware of our cultures and traditions along with the importance of Veda. Otherwise, they will be taking only the surface knowledge,” Ghimire added.
During the event, Ghimire lauded the efforts of Acharya made to write this book by the use of technology at the age of 70.
Writer Acharya argued that the book was published in a simpler way by incorporating the texts mentioned in the religious anthology and Veda. “I have prepared this book to make the principles and ideals of Veda understandable,” Acharya added.
