Kathmandu: The match between Nepal and Myanmar under the International Women’s Championship played at the Dasharath Stadium on Sunday ended on a 2-2 draw. In the last match of the league stage, both teams made two goals in the first half. But, neither team scored in the second half.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Myanmar scored the first goal in the sixth and seventeenth minutes while Nepal scored in the eleventh and fourteenth minutes. Nepal’s Sabitra Bhandari and Priti Rai contributed one each for team Nepal.
Earlier, Nepal and Myanmar had defeated Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan. The final match will be played on Wednesday between Nepal and Myanmar.
