JSP Forges Working Alliance with Rastriya Mukti Party

Kathmandu: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) led by Ashok Rai has forged a working alliance with the Rastriya Mukti Party led by Rajendra Mahato. They announced the working alliance at a programme in the federal capital, Kathmandu, on Thursday.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the alliance aims to foster coordination for the visibility of their programmes through the media. Both parties have agreed to abide by the code of conduct, directives, and decisions made by the province and district coordination committees of their respective parties.

During the programme, JSP Chairman Ashok Rai emphasized the importance of collaboration among political parties with similar ideologies. He highlighted the need for unity to achieve political polarization and protect political achievements made so far. On the other hand, Rajendra Mahato, Chairman of the Rastriya Mukti Party, expressed that unity among all communities residing in mountain, hill, and Tarai regions could ensure national prosperity. He also mentioned that this working alliance could eventually lead to party unification.

The alliance has urged leaders and cadres from both parties to refrain from making comments against the alliance policy. In joint programmes, leaders are encouraged to share views on the objectives, policies, and programmes relating to the working alliance.
