Baglung: The Kaligandaki Corridor in the Baglung district has been disrupted following a landslide in Baglung Municipality. Traffic along this vital route has been blocked due to a significant landslide at Baglung Municipality-13, causing a major interruption to transportation services.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the corridor had only just resumed vehicular movement on Tuesday afternoon after experiencing a five-day disruption. However, the landslide has once again brought traffic to a standstill, with the blockage occurring at 9:00 this morning. This has resulted in a disconnection of the road network towards the southern areas of Baglung.
Police Inspector Keshav Thapa stated that the heavy rainfall in the area is complicating efforts to clear the debris and restore vehicle movement. The ongoing weather conditions are making it challenging to manage the situation and resume normal traffic flow.
