Khulna: Khulna City Corporation (KCC) is taking steps to update the cards of the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) with the goal of creating an accurate list of beneficiaries. The initiative was announced during a meeting titled “Updated information preparation and distribution of TCB cards,” which involved ward-level designated officers.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was presided over by Divisional Commissioner and KCC Administrator Firoj Sarker at his office conference hall. Among the attendees were KCC Chief Executive Officer Lasker Tazul Islam, Secretary Sharif Asif Rahman, and TCB Joint Director Anisur Rahman, all of whom addressed the gathering.
Commissioner Firoj Sarker emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in creating the beneficiary list. He urged all involved to ensure that no low-income families are excluded from receiving government support. Sarker also instructed the team to expedite the updating process.
