Narayangadh: The landslide that struck the Tuinkhola section along the Narayangadh-Muglin road remains uncleared, leaving passengers stranded since Friday evening. Efforts to remove the debris are ongoing, yet progress has been slow.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the road division office in Chitwan reported that clearing the landslide could take until Sunday, assuming favorable conditions. Office chief Narayan Lamichhane explained that large debris piles make nighttime work challenging, prompting a temporary halt in clearing efforts.
The landslide is scheduled to be addressed from Sunday morning, as work was interrupted again at 6:30 PM when another landslide occurred. In the interim, the district administration office has distributed dry foods and meals to those stranded, alleviating some challenges faced by travelers.
