Mahendranagar: Senior Vice Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre), Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has emphasized the importance of protecting the political achievements made so far. Speaking at an inaugural session of the Kanchanpur branch of Nar Bahadur Karmacharya Memorial Foundation in Mahendranagar today, the leader stressed the need for safeguarding accomplishments achieved through various struggles and sacrifices.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Shrestha highlighted the historical significance of Nepal’s revolutionary movement, which took a significant step forward with the establishment of the Communist Party under the leadership of iconic figures such as Nar Bahadur Karmacharya and Pushpa Lal Shrestha in 2006 BS. He underscored the urgency of promoting social development and transformation by leveraging democratic changes.
Shrestha also advised that the Maoist Centre should work towards greater unity to ensure the continuation and strengthening of these accomplishments.
