Lumbini Chief Minister Acharya Commits to Easing Climate for Private Sector Investment


Tulasipur: Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has announced that the provincial government is actively working to create a favorable environment for private sector investment. He made this statement while speaking at the 18th Anniversary and Building Inauguration Programme of Rapti Life Care Hospital in Tulasipur.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief Minister Acharya encouraged private sector enthusiasm for investment, assuring that the government would facilitate a conducive environment for such initiatives. Highlighting the significant role of private sectors in education and health, Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Tikaram Khadka acknowledged the contribution of private investments in supporting state functions.



Rapti Life Care Hospital, which started operations with an investment of Rs 270 million, witnesses an annual turnover of Rs 177.3 million. Hospital Chairman Hari Rijal shared that the hospital offers certificate-level courses in nursing and general medicine and plans to introduce lab and pharmacy programs next year.



The hospital is equipped to provide specialized services in various fields, including general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and obstetrics, among others. It also offers 10 percent of its beds and educational seats in nursing and general medicine free of cost. Currently, the hospital employs 209 individuals.
