Salsena: A landslide that struck this morning at Salsena in Dogadakedar-5 has blocked the Mahakali Highway, bringing transportation to a standstill. The landslide has caused significant disruption, cutting off road connectivity from Baitadi to Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi, Kathmandu, and the district headquarters. Many travelers have found themselves stranded along the route.
According to National News Agency Nepal, local resident Sher Singh Karki reported that the landslide is massive, completely halting traffic. This blockage has resulted in considerable inconvenience for those traveling along the affected routes.
Meanwhile, Police Inspector Balaram Pandey confirmed that traffic on the Jaya Prithvi Highway has resumed. This route had been temporarily closed due to a landslide at Musyakhan on the Khodpe-Bajhang road section.
