Narayanganj: A man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in the Jalakandi area under Araihazar upazila of the district today. The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak. The accident occurred this afternoon when a pickup van fell into a roadside ditch after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The crash resulted in the immediate death of the driver and injuries to two other individuals, according to Enayet Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Araihajar Police Station.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the injured individuals were transported to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Authorities have filed a case in connection with the incident, as investigations continue to determine further details surrounding the cause of the accident.
