Gorkha: The Manakamana Cable Car Company has announced a temporary closure of its services for three days in observance of the Dashain festival, starting today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, company manager Ujjwal Sherchan confirmed that the cable car services will recommence on October 4, Saturday. This facility, established as Nepal’s pioneering cable car service, has been operational since 1998, primarily serving devotees visiting the renowned Manakamana Temple located in Sahid Lakhan Thapa rural municipality in Gorkha.
