MEC Finalizes Seat Allocation for Medical Education Levels


Kathmandu: The 21st Senate of the Medical Education Commission has finalized the allocation of seats for different levels of medical education. Notably, there is an increase in the number of seats for the Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) degree under the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for the current academic calendar.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the decision was made during a Senate meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, acted upon the recommendations provided by the Commission’s Seat Determination Committee.
