Met Office Predicts Dry Weather Over Country

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that weather may remain dry for the next 24 hours across the country beginning this morning. “Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country,” said the forecast beginning from 9am today.

The forecast also warns that moderate to dense fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to morning, and it may continue till noon in some areas. This dense fog could temporarily disrupt air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication.

The BMD indicated that both night and day temperatures might fall slightly throughout the country. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius in Patuakhali, while the minimum temperature today was noted at 11.0 degrees Celsius in Tetulia. Furthermore, the sun is expected to set today at 05:46 pm and rise tomorrow at 06:38 am in the capital.
