Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today announced that rain or thunder showers are likely to occur at one or two locations across the nation, while the rest of the country may experience mainly dry weather with temporarily partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours from 9 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the forecast specifies that rain or thunder showers could take place in the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, as well as in the districts of Jessore and Kushtia. Additionally, a trough of low pressure is positioned over West Bengal and its neighboring areas, with a seasonal low situated over the South Bay.
The department also indicated that moderate to dense fog could develop over the southern region of the country, while light to moderate fog might occur elsewhere from late night to early morning. Furthermore, both night and day temperatures are expected to rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius throughout the country.
On Sunday, the highest temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius in Jashore, whereas Tetulia experienced the lowest temperature at 12.0 degrees Celsius today. In the capital, the sunset is at 5:55 pm today, and the sunrise is anticipated at 6:30 am tomorrow.
