Kathmandu: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidhya Bhattarai held a discussion with the heads of different private and public schools. The meeting focused on various aspects of educational management and policy implementation.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Bhattarai urged the school heads to ensure transparency in scholarship distribution and to adhere strictly to government regulations. The minister emphasized the need for a well-managed and inclusive educational session, stressing equal opportunities for all students and transparency in the enrollment process.
The discussion also covered the operationalization of educational institutions in line with government policies, adherence to the educational calendar, and the compulsory affiliation of school teachers and employees with the social security fund.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Saint Mary’s, Saint Xavier’s, Rato Bangala, Budhanilakantha School, SOS Balgram, Nepal Army School, Nepal Police School, and Gandaki Boarding School. Key topics included the enrollment process for the upcoming educational session, fee management, scholarship distribution, schools’ social responsibility, and the social security of teachers and employees.
