Kathmandu: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Kulman Ghising, who also serves as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport as well as the Minister for Urban Development, has emphasized the need for proper sewage management. During an inspection of the Jambudanda area in Gokarneshwor municipality-5 along the Guheshwori-Gokarna section, the Minister highlighted the importance of improving sewage systems along the corridor, upgrading the roadway, and maintaining cleanliness of the surrounding area and the river.
According to National News Agency RSS, Minister Ghising stressed that keeping the river clean is essential for maintaining the cleanliness of the city as a whole. The Minister also pledged to make efforts towards this goal and mentioned that efforts are underway to build small artificial ponds in the area to enhance its beauty.
