Ljubljana:The country is currently experiencing the effects of monsoon and westerly winds, with a notable low-pressure area observed in Uttar Pradesh, India.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the meteorological forecasting division predicts generally cloudy conditions nationwide. Moderate rain and snowfall are expected in various regions, particularly in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Sudurpashchim, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Provinces.
Thunder and lightning are also anticipated across these regions. In the Terai regions, moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in Sudurpashchim, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces. Heavy rainfall is possible in select locations within Gandaki and Sudurpashchim Provinces, as well as the Terai areas of Madhesh and Bagmati.
Gusty winds may affect parts of the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim Provinces. Overall, cloudy conditions are likely to dominate, particularly in Sudurpashchim and the Himalayan areas of other provinces, while partly cloudy weather will be observed in the remaining regions.
