Lamahi: A woman and her daughter drowned in a stream in Dang district on Saturday. Kima Sarki, 39, and her 17-year-old daughter Holika Sarki died in Chisokhola (stream) of Lamahi Municipality-1 in the district, according to the Police Office in Lamahi.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the two drowned while fishing at Bagaredaha in the stream this afternoon, Police Inspector Roshan Raj Pandey said. The dead bodies have been sent to the Lamahi Hospital for postmortem, according to the police.
