Narayangadh-Muglin Road Closure for Debris Clearance

Narayangadh: The Narayangadh-Muglin road will be temporarily closed for two hours starting at 1:00 pm today to facilitate the clearing of debris and mudslide deposits on the road.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief of Division Road Office, Chitwan, Narayan Lamichhane, stated that although the road, which was initially blocked by a landslide, was opened for one-way traffic on Sunday evening, it will be closed again for two hours. This closure aims to ensure the removal of obstructions at Tuinkhola, Ichchhakamana rural municipality-6, allowing for the resumption of two-way traffic.

The landslide that occurred on Friday led to a disruption in transportation for three days. During this period, passengers stranded on the road were provided with food and health check-ups, an initiative undertaken by the District Administration Office, Chitwan.
