Dhaka: The training camp of the national football team for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 qualifiers will commence on February 28 in Dhaka. The decision was made during a virtual meeting of the national teams committee held today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was attended by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) National Teams Committee Chairman and BFF President Tabith Awal, Deputy Chairman and BFF Senior Vice-president Md Imrul Hasan, along with other committee members. The committee has also decided to send the national football team to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for advanced training from March 5 to 17.
In addition, the committee appointed former footballer Amer Khan as the manager of the national football team.
