Bogra: Prime Bank National School Cricket tournament was inaugurated at Bogra Police Lines ground today. Superintendent of Police Zedan Al Musa, PPM, inaugurated the tournament, which was organized by Bangladesh Cricket Board.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, district additional superintendent of police Asaduzzaman Asad, Prime Bank Bogra branch in-charge Shah Md. Abu Saleh, Bogra district sports association convening committee members Khaled Mahmud Rubel and Mostafa Mughal, former general secretary of Bangladesh Swimming Federation Syed Aminul Haque Dewan Sajal, Shahid Chandu Stadium venue manager Jamilur Rahman Jamil, district cricket coach Mahmud Hasan Rifat, and young tigers cricket academy director Sahedul Islam Ravi, along with cricketers, organizers, and teachers of various educational institutions were present at the opening ceremony.
Bogra Police Lines School and College and Nishindara Fakir Uddin School and College competed in the opening match. A total of eight teams from Bogra city are participating in this year’s tournament, under the management of Bogra District Sports Association.
