Kathmandu:Senior Vice President of the Nepali Congress (NC), Bishwa Prakash Sharma, emphasized the need for the party to bolster its organization and contribute to national development.
According to National News Agency RSS, during a speech to party office bearers and central members at the central office following an oath-taking ceremony, Sharma highlighted the importance of unity within the party to maintain its influence in national politics.
Sharma noted that the responsibility of the Nepali Congress has now shifted to a younger generation, urging for the party to become a formidable political force and to engage in a campaign aimed at creating a prosperous Nepal. He emphasized that change and achievement are crucial at this time.
He called on the newly elected party members to commit to making the present responsible and the future promising, while considering the party’s distinguished history. Sharma also stressed that dedication to the Nepali Congress should align with serving the nation and its people.
