Kathmandu: Nepal lost to South Africa by four wickets in the Hong Kong Sixes Cricket Tournament underway in Hong Kong. In this format, each team fields six players instead of the usual eleven, with every innings limited to six overs.
According to National News Agency Nepal, South Africa chased the target of 59 runs presented by Nepal at the loss of two wickets in just 3.4 overs. Blake Simpson was the top scorer for South Africa with an unbeaten 30 runs.
Nepal, invited to bat first after losing the toss, was all out for 58 runs in 3.3 overs. Rashid Khan scored the highest for Nepal with 16 runs, followed by Lokesh Bam with 14 and Adil Alam with 13 runs. Lokesh Bam also took two wickets for Nepal.
