Kathmandu:Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has mandated that all liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) industries nationwide must issue VAT bills to customers upon the sale of gas.
According to National News Agency RSS, the directive from the NOC’s LP Gas and Aviation Department follows complaints about the failure to issue proper invoices during gas transactions.
In response, the department has issued a circular reminding all gas industries of the obligation to provide VAT bills. The circular, signed by NOC Director and Engineer Binitmani Upadhyay, noted that similar reminders were previously sent to the relevant association on August 14, 2024, and January 23, 2025.
