KATHMANDU: Biratnagar Kings has posted a target of 128 runs before Janakpur Bolts in the inaugural match held today under the Nepal Premier League (NPL). In the match held at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Biratnagar Kings made 127 runs in 19 overs losing all wickets.
According to National News Agency Nepal, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Biratnagar Kings made 127 runs. Martin Guptill of New Zealand scored the highest 55 runs in 43 balls for Biratnagar Kings. Similarly, Aqib Ilyas collected 15 runs while Nicholas Kirton scored nine runs, Lokesh Bam five runs, and Basir Ahamad, Sandeep Lamichhane, and Anil Kharel seven runs each. Additionally, Chris Sole made four runs, Pratish GC two runs, and Rajesh Pulami Magar one run. Biratnagar Kings also received an extra 15 runs in the match.
For Janakpur Bolts, Lalit Rajbanshi took three wickets while Kishore Mahato and Harsh Thaker secured two wickets each. Meanwhile, Muhammad Mohsin and Ben Mike contributed with one wicket each, completing the bowling a
ttack for Janakpur Bolts.
