Kathmandu: The Nepali Communist Party has called upon all leftist, socialist, true democratic, and patriotic forces to unite and participate in a campaign for polarisation and collaboration. The appeal, made in a note on Saturday, urged these like-minded groups to join the polarisation campaign under the newly-formed Nepali Communist Party, taking into account the current national contexts, needs, and public aspirations.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Nepali Communist Party emphasized that Marxism-Leninism remains the ideological tool for the liberation of the proletariat class. The party reaffirmed its commitment to this guiding principle, asserting that the foundation for party unity rests on correct ideology, political progress, and the centralisation of all experiences and powers. The party’s strategic programme aims to establish socialism with Nepali characteristics.
The appeal further stated that the key to unity is advancing on the path of socialism through good governance, social justice, and prosperity, all based on the same guiding principle and programme. It was noted that the Nepali Communist Party was created through the unification of 15 different communist and socialist parties. Their mission is to achieve a socialist revolution while safeguarding republicanism and national independence, maintaining good governance and social justice, and transforming the socioeconomic status of the nation.
