Lamahi: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ stated that the assemblies being organized across all seven provinces serve as platforms for self-criticism. At the Lumbini-province level assembly held in Lamahi, Dang district, Dahal emphasized the party’s commitment to standing firm on issues of nationality and national independence by addressing past weaknesses.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Coordinator Dahal highlighted that the assemblies are being used by leaders to reaffirm their commitment to serving the people with greater dedication following the unification of 15 communist parties. He stressed that this unification was essential for strengthening relationships with suppressed communities and preparing for future challenges.
Dahal clarified that the consolidation of like-minded political parties aimed to protect the nation, safeguard people’s freedom, and eliminate foreign intervention, rather than merely focusing on electoral victories. He expressed a commitment to making sacrifices for the people’s cause by learning from past events, such as the Gen-Z protest on September 8 and 9.
Joint Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal, along with leaders Bamdev Gautam, Bhim Rawal, Barsha Man Pun, Rekha Sharma, and others, also addressed the assembly, reinforcing the party’s objectives and future goals.
