Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has emphasized that the party’s general convention should be conducted within the statutory time frame. Speaking to media personnel at the Gautam Buddha International Airport, Dr Koirala highlighted the importance of holding the general convention by 2082 BS.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dr Koirala expressed his concerns regarding the delay in the renewal and distribution of party membership, which is essential before the general convention can take place. He underscored the necessity of proceeding with the party’s general convention within the stipulated time to strengthen the party’s position and aim for a majority in the 2084 general elections.
