Kathmandu: Nepal will participate in the Hong Kong Sixes cricket tournament organized by the Hong Kong Cricket Association from November 7-9. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) today announced a seven-member Nepali team led by captain Sharad Bheswakar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the team comprises players Sandip Jora, Lokesh Bam, Basir Ahamad, Adil Ansari, Rashid Khan, and Rupesh Singh. The tournament will feature teams from various countries divided into four groups. Nepal is placed in Group A along with South Africa and Afghanistan.
Group B includes Australia, England, and UAE, while Group C comprises India, Pakistan, and Kuwait. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong make up Group D. Each match in the tournament will consist of six overs, with each team fielding six players.
