Kathmandu: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged the agitating groups to make the protest peaceful, dignified, and restrained.
According to National News Agency Nepal, issuing a press note, NHRC Spokesperson Dr. Tikaram Pokharel emphasized the importance of learning lessons from past incidents and highlighted the need for peaceful efforts to prevent further human loss and physical damages.
The human rights body further informed that it has formed an investigation team under the convenorship of NHRC Member Lily Thapa. This team is tasked with probing into the violation of human rights during the demonstration.
