Kirtipur: Matches are set to play today in the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Both matches will be held at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Janakpur Bolts and Chitwan Rhinos will face each other in the first match scheduled at 11:45 am. The second match will feature Pokhara Adventures and Karnali Yaks at 4:00 pm.
Janakpur Bolts is currently at the bottom of the points table after losing four consecutive matches. The team is looking to remain in the playoff race by securing a win in today’s match. In contrast, Chitwan Rhinos has won two out of four matches and aims to strengthen its chances for the playoffs with a victory today.
Pokhara Adventures needs a win in today’s match to make it easier for them to reach the playoff race. They have managed to secure victory in only one of the four matches played so far.
