Lalitpur: Lalitpur City Football Club has entered the playoffs of the Nepal Super League (NSL) football tournament-2025. Lalitpur defeated Butwal Lumbini FC 2-0 in the match played today at Dasharath Stadium to book a place in the playoffs of the tournament.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Captain Anant Tamang scored the first goal in the 23rd minute while Santosh Khatri scored the second in the 88th minute of the match. With today’s win, Lalitpur has climbed to the top of the table with 11 points from five matches.
Meanwhile, Butwal Lumbini FC has been eliminated from the playoff race after its fourth consecutive defeat.
