Syangja: A person died of electric shock at Kolma of Putalibazaar municipality-9 in Syangja district on Saturday afternoon. Arun Kumar Chaudhary, 25, originally from Rangapur of Gujra municipality-1 in Rautahat district, accidentally caught the current while fixing an internet cable to an electricity pole.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chaudhary was an employee of the Fiber Net in Pokhara. The incident occurred as he was performing maintenance work on the internet cable. Prashanna Raj Chaudhary, an information officer at the District Police Office in Syangja, confirmed the details of the incident.
Chaudhary was rushed to a hospital immediately after the accident but succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
