Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 161 bottles of phensidyl from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Thursday.
The arrested was Md Nahid Islam, 22, of Chakpara Dhulipara under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, acting on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 raided the Amnura Bazar area under Jhilim union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila and arrested Nahid.
RAB also seized a motorcycle.
Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar thana, the sources added.
