Bogura: Panchagarh district emerged as zonal champions to reach the final round of the U-23 National Youth Volleyball competition, defeating Bogura district by 3-0 sets in the zonal final held at Shahaeed Chandu Stadium in Bogura on Thursday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation organized the competition on the occasion of the Festival of Youth 2025. Earlier, on their way to the final, Panchagarh defeated Dinajpur in the first semifinal, while Bogura overcame Rajshahi, both by 2-0 sets in the second semifinal.
Following the zonal round, a total of eight district volleyball teams-four zonal champions and four runners-up teams-will participate in the final round of the competition. This final round is scheduled to take place from February 25-26 at Palton ground in Dhaka.
