People’s safety first priority: Chief Minister Karki


Koshi Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki said the safety of the people is the first priority of the provincial government.

Inaugurating the custody building of the local police office in Dharan sub-metropolitan city-18 today, he clarified that the government would primarily pay special attention to keep law and order in the province.

Stating that codes and standards should be strictly adhered while constructing buildings in a way to make the people feel safe, he further said, “Go ahead with the development works. The province government is always ready to help.”

Mentioning that Dharan is known as the city of sports and British Gurkhas (Lahure), Chief Minister Karki said that Dharan is equally important from multicultural, multilingual and multi-religious fronts.
