Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and the Chief Secretary have signed a performance agreement with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today, outlining tasks to be executed and achievements to be accomplished during the current fiscal year.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the performance agreements, which cover upcoming programs and include an annual progress review for each ministry, were signed and exchanged at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar. This practice, initiated during Prime Minister Oli’s previous term, aims to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure projects and improvements in service delivery, in line with the national aspiration of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
Following the signing of the agreements with the Prime Minister, the ministers are required to sign similar performance agreements with their respective secretaries to ensure accountability and progress in meeting the outlined objectives.
