Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced the government’s commitment to extend every possible support for the comprehensive development of youths. He made this statement during his address at the National Cadet Corps (NCC)’s SN 19 Senior Division Pass-out Parade held at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel.
According to National News Agency Nepal, PM Oli emphasized that the NCC program holds significant priority for the government, as the nation consistently requires disciplined youths who have a strong allegiance to the National Flag. He invoked the maxim ‘Janani Janmabhumishcha Swargadapi Gariyesi’ or ‘the Motherland is Greater than Heaven,’ underscoring the importance of youth in the nation’s progress.
The Prime Minister, who serves as the NCC’s Chief Patron, encouraged the youths to enhance their morale, develop leadership skills, adhere to moral conduct and discipline, and understand their duties towards society and the nation. He expressed confidence that the training received by the cadets would inspire them to serve the nation selflessly when required.
PM Oli extended his best wishes to the cadets for their commitment to patriotism, duty, and excellence. He urged them to contribute to the nation’s development through fair competition and not by undermining others.
