PM Scheduled to Address Lawmakers’ Queries at House of Representatives Meeting


Kathmandu: The House of Representatives (HoR) is set to convene at 1:00 pm today, with a significant agenda on the table. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address and respond to various queries raised by lawmakers during this parliamentary session, in accordance with HoR Regulation, 2079.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the session will also see Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishor Sah, presenting a proposal. This proposal seeks consideration on the ‘Bill Relating to Children (first amendment), 2082’. This amendment is a critical point on the agenda and will be discussed among the lawmakers present.



Additionally, the HoR will entertain a proposal to forward the Human Rights Trafficking (Control) First Amendment Bill, 2081, to the related committee for a clause-wise discussion. This step is crucial in advancing the legislative process concerning human rights trafficking issues.
