Polling Launched to Recognize Best Airlines Operating in Bangladesh


Dhaka: Online polling for recognizing the best airlines operating in Bangladesh for the year 2024 has been launched. The only airline reward program in the country, is being organized by the leading aviation magazine Bangladesh Monitor while online travel agency ShareTrip is supporting the program as the title sponsor this year, said a press release here.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this year’s competition titled ‘ShareTrip-Monitor Airline of the Year 2024’ will recognize airlines for their service excellence in 24 categories. ShareTrip will extensively promote the poll among the potential voters and extend necessary support to The Bangladesh Monitor in organizing the poll and hosting the gala award ceremony.

Any individual who has undertaken a minimum of four air trips during 2024 will be eligible to join the poll. Votes can be cast online (https://www.bangladeshmonitor.com.bd/poll-2024) on or before April 15, 2025, in 24 categories. The categories include Best Business Class, Best Economy Cl
ass, Best In-flight Entertainment, Best In-flight Meal In Business Class, Best In-flight Meal in Economy Class, Best In-flight Service (Economy Class), Best In-flight Service (Business Class), Best Loyalty (Frequent Flyer) Program, Best Overall Customer Experience, Best Airport Lounge (Bangladesh), Best Improved Airlines (compared to 2023), Top 10 Most Popular Airline Brands in Bangladesh, Best Airport Services, Best Freight Forwarder and Logistics Service Providers, Best Regional Airline, Best Long-haul Airline, Best Budget Airline, Cargo Airline of the Year, and Airline of the Year.

Additionally, there are four separate categories reserved for domestic airlines which are: Best On-time Performance, Most Customer Friendly Airline, Best In-flight Service, and Domestic Airline of the Year. ‘I call upon frequent travelers to take part in the opinion poll and thereby contribute to the development of airline services to and from Bangladesh,’ Editor of the Bangladesh Monitor Kazi Wahidul Alam said on the occasion.

A high-profile jury comprising representatives from different social and professional groups will select the winners based on the results of the opinion poll. Results of the poll will be formally announced at a gala award ceremony to be held in Dhaka in May this year.
