Khumaltar: Former Prime Minister and Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has emphasized the importance of preserving art and culture to protect the country’s identity. Dahal made these remarks during an event at his residence in Khumaltar, where artists performed Deusibhailo.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dahal addressed the artists, stating that art and sports have been priorities for him since his involvement in the peace process. The event was organized by National Folk Mediapersons Nepal. Dahal stressed the collective responsibility to promote culture and strengthen historical customs and traditions, highlighting that such activities educate the younger generation on cultural significance and enhance national unity.
During the event, artists including Manju Paudel, Radhika Hamal, and Ayusha Gautam performed Deusibhailo. Dahal also participated by joining the group for a dance, showcasing his support for cultural activities.
